Role model for public monuments, now in Chile


At Plaza Metro Los Heroes in Santiago, Chile two Chilean architects behind the name “oficina de arquitectura” (architecture office) have seen the realization of their winning proposal for the Monument of female political victims.

The duo, comprised of architects Emilio Marin and Nicolas Norero have envisioned an ethereal structure made of glass, which brings the demure theme in tune with prosaic surroundings.

Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Design


The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) has announced the recipients of its 2007 Professional Awards. The Residential Design Category Award of Excellence is awarded to Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture for Elie Saab Residence. Vladimir Djurovic is half Serbian and half Lebanese.
