Piet Boon Zone: style up for winter

What started out as a series of unique, high-end interiors for demanding customers, turned out as a new business niche for Piet Boon and his wife Karen: increasing demand for their one-off, elegant and crafted furniture pieces led to the creation of a new line of interior pieces, named the Piet Boon Zone.

At Milan Salone Satellite 2007, this new range of furniture was presented, with an outstanding response from the design world and customers.

Some of the most beautiful pieces were those with unusual relationship between material and size, form and color, especially the outdoor pieces, as you can see on the photos above. on the other hand, what distinguishes Piet boon from many other designers is a sensitivity to materials and their beginnings – thus you can see rough, untreated wood low-tables, goat-skin cushions, as well as ultra-sustainable tables from honeycomb paper mesh, as can bee ordered through DWR.
