Trees in winter


Shigeyuki Hasegawa, a young Japanese designer has astonished all who stopped by his booth at this Salone satellite in Milan with a small collection of lights that takes its inspiration from trees in winter, but is made in the traditional technique of lantern-making called the “Chochin” light.

Industrial felt made beautiful


American designer Josh Jacus has added another design to his choice of eco-friendly products, this one called  the WINEPOCKET : A communion between bottle and bag. It`s made of gray industrial wool felt made from factory excess (85% wool and 15% mixed fibers).

Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Design


The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) has announced the recipients of its 2007 Professional Awards. The Residential Design Category Award of Excellence is awarded to Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture for Elie Saab Residence. Vladimir Djurovic is half Serbian and half Lebanese.
